Investors in Pupils

Investors in pupils is an award for schools which is about students having their say and making a difference to the school. Our aim is to be able to meet the criteria for that award by the end of the year which is when it needs renuing. By doing this we  are hoping to also be making students lives better in school.

Communications Team

The communication team  is there to create links between students and staff. We aim to promote the student council and make sure students can navigate around the blog. We also take in student opinions and views and present them to the rest of the council.

Academy Action Team

Academy Action concentrates on issues outside the classroom. We aim to help get students views and opinions across. The academy action team is there to help with issues outside of lessons. This year we will be focusing on two main issues. Firstly, we shall focus on 'movement time' a time allocated for students to move from classrooms and still be on time. We shall also focus on the music played during the end of break and lunch time. This involves the type of music and the volume of it.

Eco Green Team

We are in the process of applying for the Green Flag Award. We are also trying to generate ideas to raise awareness and funds.

Teaching and Learning Action Team

This year we are going to focus on different learning styles of students. We are also going to focus on teacher-student communications
